Our Year 4 Foundation Courses offer a dynamic educational experience, encompassing two essential components: the weekly 11+ Tuition (teaching) Course and the monthly Mock Exam Course. By combining these two courses, we provide your Year 4 child with a comprehensive preparation program for the upcoming 11+ exams.

In the 11 Plus Foundation Course, we focus on equipping Year 4 pupils with the necessary skills in all four subjects: Mathematics, English (including comprehension, creative writing, cloze procedure, and advanced vocabulary work), Verbal Reasoning, and Non-verbal Reasoning. Our expert instructors will guide your child through the core topics required for success in the 11+ exams.

During the Year 4 Foundation Course, students not only gain proficiency in each subject but also develop essential techniques, timing strategies, and exam practice through mock exams. This early exposure to exam-style conditions helps your child become familiar with the format and builds their confidence for future assessments.

As part of our Year 4 Foundation Course, we offer a monthly Mock Exam Course. This course provides an opportunity for students to gauge their progress and assess their performance under realistic exam conditions. We understand the need for flexibility, which is why we offer both venue-attended and online courses. Our venue-attended classes are conducted after school and on weekends at various locations. Please refer to the table below for specific class locations, days, and timings.

For those who prefer the convenience of online learning, we have designed an equally engaging course. Led by the esteemed educator, Gwenda herself, our online tutorials are delivered via high-quality video lessons. These tutorials, along with weekly timed tests, quizzes, and monthly mock exams, ensure that your child receives a well-rounded and immersive learning experience. Our unique approach brings the classroom directly into your home.

Regardless of whether you choose the venue-attended or online course, both options provide approximately 4 to 4½ hours of video tutorials each week. Additionally, all students gain access to our remote monthly mock exam course, an integral part of our comprehensive program.
